Four stages, and the two that usually go wrong elsewhere are the two we are most explicit about.
A rough list is fine. We confirm the details with you rather than sending it back for a form.
A quotation costs you nothing. It is a proposal, not an order. Nothing is committed until you confirm it.
Most items are ordered per order. That is why the range we can quote is wider than any list on this sheet.
Short does not mean cancelled. You always know what is still outstanding, and it is delivered after.

The parts buyers usually have to ask about, answered before you ask.
- Payment terms
- Cash on delivery, or 30, 60, 90 and 120 days for trade accounts, including split terms such as half at 30 days and the balance at 60.
- Post-dated checks
- Accepted, on receipt and on issue. Normal practice here, and we work with it rather than around it.
- Sourcing
- Most items are ordered per customer order, which is why the range we can quote is wider than any list on this sheet.
- Partial deliveries
- If part of an order is short, we deliver what is ready and follow up the balance. The remainder is completed, not cancelled.
- Quotations
- Written and itemised, with unit prices and totals. You get a copy and we keep one.
